Nair Service Society of California

Nair Service Society of California, is a non-political, non-profit, religious, cultural, and charitable organization in order to create better understanding among its members and others and to enhance their social and cultural life based on the traditional ways of life and values of the NAIR community in California in particular, and to assist members in need by arranging family and marriage counseling, child welfare, child guidance, aging service and emergency financial assistance. Any person belonging to the NAIR community by birth, marriage or otherwise, and who is at least eighteen years old and who subscribes to the ideals of the Association is eligible for membership.

San Jose, California: Office bearers of the Nair Service Society of California held a special meeting on July 28th to pay the last respects to the former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. “He was a big inspiration for me and fellow students starting from our college days at College of Engineering Trivandrum”, said Rajesh Nair, the President of NSS California. Joint Secretary Ravi Shankar observed that Dr. Abdul Kalam was a great leader with right vision, but his down to earth attitude won hearts of all Indians.

Annual general body meeting and family get-together of the Nair Service Society of California was held on June 27th at Sunnyvale, California. A new executive committee was formed with Rajesh Nair as President, Manoj Kumar as Secretary, Sunitha Jayamohan as Treasurer, Anoop Menon as Vice President and Ravi Sankar as Joint Secretary. The Board of Directors is reconstituted by inducting Ajish Nair, Smita Nair, Priyadarshini, Swopna Pillai and Parvathi Menon.
